Weddings have and will always hold such a huge part of my photography heart. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how creatively exciting and fun capturing this newborn session in Missoula, Montana, truly was. Shot in a light and airy, cozy home, this session was full of heartwarming moments that made me fall in love with newborn photography all over again.

This sweet family reached out at the last minute, hoping to schedule a newborn session with me. With the fall photography season in full swing, my schedule was packed, but knowing how kind and fun this family was, I couldn’t resist squeezing them in. I may be a bit biased because their home was absolutely stunning, full of that clean aesthetic I love, and the session had all the girl-mom energy I can relate to. Being a girl mom myself, it felt like I was photographing a bit of my own story!
