David + Sarah
An Intimate Lodge Wedding with Pastel Hues at Glacier Homestead in Montana
August 31, 2024
What an incredible day it was on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at Glacier Homestead in Montana! Sarah and David’s wedding was the perfect blend of heartfelt moments, laughter, and a whole lot of fun. As their photographer, I felt incredibly lucky to capture every precious second of their intimate celebration.
With just 35 of their closest family and friends, Sarah and David’s wedding was beautifully cozy and personal. The pastel color palette was like a sweet breath of fresh air, perfectly matching the stunning Montana scenery and adding a dreamy vibe to the whole day. Though they now call Great Falls home, where David is stationed with the military, both Sarah and David are Texas natives. And as a fellow Texan, I felt right at home!
One of the best surprises of the day was running into Madison, one of Sarah’s fabulous bridesmaids. Imagine my shock when I realized Madison and I were sorority sisters from Delta Gamma at Texas A&M! It’s such a small world! We spent a little time catching up on all things Aggie while celebrating Sarah and David’s love story.
The day was filled with so many unforgettable moments, but a few standouts are forever etched in my memory. Sarah’s brother walking her down the aisle was such a sweet moment. As he teared up, it was impossible not to feel all the emotions bubbling up—it was such a testament to their close sibling bond.
Then there was the bridesmaid first look with Sarah. Oh my goodness, the excitement in the air was electric! The laughter, the happy tears, and the big hugs—these girls were ready to celebrate their girl, and it was so much fun to capture their reactions.
And who could forget Sarah and David’s first dance? As they swayed to “Joy of My Life,” the love in their eyes was so evident. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room! It was such a tender moment, full of love and joy, and it made my heart so happy to see two people so in love.
Sarah and David’s wedding was everything a wedding should be—full of love, joy, and a whole lot of fun! It was a blast reconnecting with an old friend and being part of this beautiful celebration. I’m sending all my best wishes to Sarah and David for a future filled with love, laughter, and endless adventures!
Cheers to you, Sarah and David! Your wedding was an absolute joy to capture, and I’m so grateful to have been a part of your special day!
