Typically my blog is for wedding photography advice, engagement session inspiration or real wedding day experience, however, it is also a chance to let you in on our everyday life. Our family welcomed a baby girl, Shea Lee, into the world a few weeks ago on March 25 at 6:48am. She has already captivated our hearts from the moment we first held her. Our oldest daughter, Elle Lee, is thrilled to be a big sister and is helping out by loving on her new sister as much as she can.

This birth was an experience I will never forget. Unlike my first birth, it truly was so peaceful. God was faithful to us in that he gave me the strength to birth naturally and endure to the end. I love being able to share how sweet it is getting to walk through God’s will for our family, including this serene birth story.

We are all adapting to life as a family of four. My husband Sy, has really been so gracious with me as I cope with being postpartum. We would like to thank our friends and family for all your support, whether it be watching Elle during the birth, dropping by a meal or simply praying with us. We appreciate all your love and cannot wait for you to meet our precious newborn, Shea Lee.

It was so fun getting to photograph a lifestyle newborn session for my own family. Thanks to my second shooter/husband, Sy, I was able to actually be in the photos. Every mom deserves to be in their family photos, so I am beyond grateful I was able to. I hope these images bring you as much joy as it does for me.
