As we approach Mother's Day, I want to reflect on all of my Mommy and Me Sessions I had this April. I saw many mamas, with a variety of kiddos, but what was constant was the importance these images were to every mom.

Having a daughter of my own, I realize the significance of documenting every life milestone and how quickly our children grow up. That is why even though wedding photography is at the front of my business, I never want to lose sight of family photography as well. Just as a wedding is one of the most important days of your life, the journey of parenthood is as well. Mamas look at these photos as all they have left while their baby grows before their eyes. One of my favorite things is delivering a gallery to a mom and having her joyfully cry about how special these moments are to her. Because of that, creating beautiful art of your precious little ones is so rewarding.

To all my mamas out there, I hope you have the best Mother's Day. I hope that these photos gave you a gift that you can cherish forever. And lastly, I hope that you squeeze your babies tight, because one day they will have a family of their own.
