John + Delaney | Engaged
A Whimsical Late Winter Engagement in the Mountains of Bozeman, MT
Once in a blue moon, I blog an engagement session, and this one holds a special place in my heart. John and Delaney live on the other side of Montana from me, so when we started planning their session, I mentioned that I’d already be in Bozeman for a wedding that weekend. They were totally up for meeting halfway, and let me tell you, it was spectacular!!
Mid-March marks the tail end of winter in Montana, where snow begins to melt in some places but lingers beautifully in others. We were lucky to shoot at a breathtaking spot where the snow still blanketed the ground, with the stunning Bridger Mountain Range in the background and little pockets of ponds scattered throughout. As the sun dipped into golden hour, we took photos beside a pond where tiny ducks danced on the water, adding the sweetest touch of magic to the evening. It was peaceful, romantic, and so incredibly special!!
I can’t wait for May to celebrate and capture John & Delaney’s wedding day. Congrats, you two! It’s going to be the most beautiful day, and if their engagement session was any indication, their wedding will be just as magical.
