An Epic Early Spring Engagement Session at The Grand Tetons
Morgan and Maira’s engagement session in the Tetons felt like stepping into a dream. Last weekend on April 25th, we explored some of the most iconic views inside Grand Teton National Park, beginning at Mormon Row before ending the evening overlooking the winding river below at Snake River Overlook. Between the mountain views and their sweet connection, every part of the evening felt effortless!
Before the session officially began, we actually got to tour their wedding venue together, which made the entire experience feel even more personal. You can already tell how intentional Morgan and Maira are about building experiences and memories together, and this session reflected that perfectly.
One of my favorite details from the evening was the incredible van they traveled in. It fit the adventurous spirit of the session so well and gave them the perfect cozy place to warm up and change outfits between locations. Their sweet husky joined along for part of the adventure too, which made everything even more fun and personal. I always love when couples bring pieces of their real life into their sessions because it tells their story in such an authentic way.
Morgan and Maira have such a calm and genuine connection together. Nothing felt forced. The way they laughed together, held onto each other, and moved naturally throughout the evening made photographing them feel incredibly easy.
Most of this session was photographed on film, which made it even more special to me. Film has a way of slowing everything down and preserving moments with so much depth. The soft tones and light throughout the evening paired perfectly with the landscape around us.
This session was the perfect reminder of why I love engagement photography so much. Beautiful scenery will always be incredible, but it’s the connection between two people that truly makes images unforgettable.
