A Fall Mountainside Wedding at the Barn on Mullan in Missoula, Montana

September 29, 2023

When I met Rachel and Emmanuel, I knew off the bat that these two loved three things, Jesus, creating music and coffee. Their wedding day highlighted this by having all three at the center of their big day. These shared interests are how Rachel and Emmanuel met and connected. They both played in a worship band in Pennsylvania. They told me they knew quickly after meeting that they were, “The One” for each other. After getting engaged in May of 2022, they planned on getting married in arguably one of the prettiest times here in Missoula: fall time.

The Barn on Mullan set the stage for a spectacular view of gorgeous colorful fall foliage. Garden City Floral did a wonderful job of matching the exact color of rusty red from her floral arrangements to the changing leaves outside. Not to mention, the weather that day was amazing. The sun was out for most of the day along with a cool crisp breeze. You couldn’t have planned it more perfectly.

One of my favorite things they had was a Coffee Truck by Saddle Up Espresso. There are so many reasons why this worked well. First being, it was the cutest touch. They had great decor that dressed up the coffee truck to make it look rustic chic. Secondly, the coffee bar kept everyone warm as the night cooled off and the dancing continued. I think I saw the same guests get in line multiple times. It was the biggest hit! Lastly, it was so unique, fun and different. Rachel and Emmanuel will forever be remembered for the coffee that was flowing on their wedding night.

The two other loves of this couples life, Jesus and creating music, was at the center of their wedding. I have never seen this been done before, but it was probably the highlight of the whole day. Rachel sang a few worship songs while Emmanuel played the piano during their ceremony. Their family and friends joined in on the worship. It was so special and such a testament to who they are. I don’t think there was a dry eye at the end of their ceremony. So moving!

Thank you Rachel and Emmanuel for trusting me with your wedding day. It was an honor! I hope you two have a joyful lifetime together full of more Jesus, coffee and music.
