A Mountainous Estate Wedding by Tally Lake in Whitefish, MT

Seth and Sophie decided to have a destination wedding here in Montana because they love the outdoors and have family ties to Montana. They are both from Georgia and traveled with their closest family & friends to celebrate their love in the union of marriage. Being from the South myself, these two remind me of where I was raised. Seth and Sophie are both very sweet, polite and charming. Their wedding took place at their gorgeous Nana’s home in Whitefish Montana. It had amazing views of mountains at every angle as well as great scenery of Tally Lake below.

Since these two had to fly in for their wedding, we squeezed in their engagement session a day or so before their wedding. I love that we were still able to have a session before their wedding day to ease the nerves that can occasionally come with being in front of a camera. As you can tell from their wedding photos, these two were naturals and should honestly consider modeling in the future.

Some of my highlights from their special wedding day was the touching ceremony vows, the location being so epic and their parent dances. I do not think I have ever cried while shooting as much as I did for Seth and his mother’s dance together. I was bawling like a baby and so was everyone watching. It was so touching to see how loved Seth and Sophie are. Congratulations you two!! I hope you have the best honeymoon in the Dominican Republic!!
